KOB Consulting was founded on the premise of providing People Operations to Start Ups and Growth businesses, but as we have evolved, we have now found our niche is bringing People Operations from the Start Up community to Corporate HR.
We are well informed by People Operations from the Silicon Valley which is built upon an entrepreneurial mindset, often bootstrapping, and leading with customer centric design.
Our approach to consulting is to seek to understand your business before anything else. We believe co-creation leads to better people outcomes. We will always approach our work with kindness, care and curiosity. What we do impacts lives, we will never lose sight of this.
Kristin O'Brien, Managing Consultant
Kristin founded KOB Consulting at the end of 2016. Prior to this, Kristin worked in Corporate Organisational Design and Development. Her most recent Corporate experience was 5 years at Telstra and prior to that 5 years at ANZ Bank. She has also led the People and Culture function at a medium size not-for-profit called Plan International(Australia) and spent 5 years working in Human Resources in the UK.
At Telstra she was the Human Resources Lead for New Businesses. These are the startup and growth businesses of the incumbent Australian telco. It was this experience that ignited her passion for building people programs and practices that create great places to work, early in the business life cycle.
Her passion is the future of work and evolving Organisation design and development to contribute to this.
